Youth Academy Application

Leadership Adams Youth Academy Summary:

1. Goals
   • Develop leadership skills
   • For tudents to connect with key influencers in the county.
   • For students to explore career opportunities in the county.
   • For students to experience service opportunities in the county.
2. Five-day program.
3. Educational component consisting of a John Maxwell curriculum.
4. One male & one female will be selected from all six high schools in Adams County.
5. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded at the end of the program that is based on participation, attendance, engagement, and a project to be completed at the end of the program.

Basic Selection Criteria

Basic criteria for achieving this selection are:

1. Individuals with a sincere commitment, motivation, and interest in service to the community.
2. Individuals who have demonstrated commitment by past community activities.
3. Individuals who will make a commitment to set aside five full days in June to attend the academy.
4. Select one male and one female from the upcoming graduating class.
